Blue, Blue, Blue!

On a day where the theme color is supposed to be green for St. Patrick's Day, I focused instead on the very blue filled Butterfly Rose Cross:

The nice part about large blocks of blue background is that it's easy to just lose yourself in the rhythm of the stitching when you don't have to change colors a lot. That's why I was able to get several hundred more stitches in last night:

Still lots more blue to go, but progress is progress!

    Great progress =) Block stitching can be very calming, but I am looking forward to seeing the actual cross =)
