Quaker Diamonds

Yesterday I had the pleasure of working on Quaker Diamonds from Rosewood Manor.

There is just something about this piece that I really love and it was a real pleasure to work on it yesterday. I was very pleased with the progress I made.

I'm stitching this on a 28 cashel linen solo dye from Silkweavers using the called for Valdani threads (you can see an example of the pack in the original picture) - fun little balls of thread that are a pleasure to work with!

Princess Leia

I love Star Wars and cannot wait for the new movie to come out later this year! Yesterday, I worked on Princess Leia from Fangirl Stitches:

This piece contains all of the costumes worn by Princess Leia in the original Star Wars trilogy. She had a lot of costumes! And a lot of white in those earlier costumes! Here is where I got to yesterday:

Like I said - a lot of white! I'm stitching this on 28 Jobelan in Cosmos from Under The Sea Fabrics, and I just love it! I think this is going to look awesome when it's all done! And I keep anxiously waiting for Fangirl Stitches to release the Padme version of this piece. I've seen previews of it, and it's just gorgeous!

Princess Collection

Yesterday I worked for a little while on Princess Collection from Soda Stitch:

I didn't get as far on this as I would have liked, but it was my third project of the day to work on (pictures of the others will come later this week), and I had a date night with my husband last night so I didn't have any evening stitchy time. But hey, progress is progress!

Ariel definitely has a lot of hair! I'm stitching this on 32 Lugana in Zephyr from Picture This Plus.

Plum Pudding

Yesterday I worked on Plum Pudding by Glendon Place.

I love working on these dessert mandalas. I think it's the silks that I'm using with the pieces that just make it a very soothing and calming stitch. Here is where I got to yesterday:

Pin Up Girls

Yesterday I worked on Pin Up Girls by Soda Stitch.

I really do love this piece even if I'm not sure where I'll hang it up when it's done! Maybe my bedroom. We'll see! Here's where I got to yesterday:

I just love working on the Soda Stitch patterns, even if I did discover yesterday I was missing a couple of colors for this piece! That will soon be rectified! I'm stitching this on 32 Jobelan in Pixie Kiss from Hand Dyed Fabrics by Stephanie, which I think is just perfect for these sassy sexy ladies!
