I cannot believe it's July 1st! Where has this year gone?? Ugh!!
Yesterday was a very Frosted Pumpkin Stitchery themed day with not one, but two pieces worked on designed by them! The first was the Fibery Friends Sampler.
Unlike nearly every other Frosted Pumpkin piece I've done, I've kept the called for DMC threads for this piece, and this is where I stopped yesterday:
My son got a grand kick out of the idea that a sheep was wearing a sweater! I'm stitching this on 28 Jobelan in Tempest from Hand Dyed Fabrics by Stephanie.
Yesterday also saw the release of the July portion of the Story Time Sampler - Lady of Shalott. I really wish the Pumpkins would release a sampler entirely of Arthurian legend stories. I think that would be awesome! As always, I finished the frame in one (very late) night. Here is the individual frame:
And here is the piece as a whole so far:
Though this may not be my favorite of all of the stories released so far, I do have to say I love this frame the most (and my daughter has a My Little Pony castle in the same pinks and purples as this frame has! Ha!). I'm stitching this on 28 Jobelan in Melody from Hand Dyed Fabrics by Stephanie.
Today starts the W(h)ine and WIPs SAL for Stitch Maynia, tomorrow is the WIPocalypse report, lots to do the next do!
Until next time!
