Skater's Village Tree Skirt

Five inches of snow! That's what I had in my backyard yesterday, and the kids loved it! It made the piece I worked on yesterday all the more appropriate - Skater's Village Tree Skirt!

Here is where I was able to get to yesterday:

I love this piece, but it is definitely one of my least favorites to actually work on just because of the sheer size of it. It can definitely be difficult to handle at times - if I was ever going to invest in buying a frame to use for stitching, this would be the piece that would inspire me to do so. But I keep plugging away because it's going to be so worth it in the end!

Until next time!

  1. Nice progress Katy. I agree, way to big and looks very hard to work on.
