I Hate Migraines

So yesterday morning, I woke up with a horrible migraine...the kind that feels like a sledgehammer was used to impale your skull with a battle axe type pain. I forced myself to go to work because we have a big review going on this week, but by the time I got home after another 10+ hour day, all of which was in pain, I was far, far too tired to do any stitching. I did pick it back up again for a little while tonight.
As of 10/24/12
I didn't stitch as much as I would like but I do have an excuse. I spent part of my typical stitching time going through my various charts for my Crazy January Challenge to figure out what threads and fabrics I needed and I went "shopping" in my stash to determine what I have already. I now have a list of what I need to get in order to be ready for January, which is an accomplishment!

I'm hoping I can get some more stitching done tomorrow! Fingers crossed!

Until next time!

  1. It is looking great. Does it have many quarter or half stitches in it?

  3. Can't imagine how you survived all day at work with a migraine - ugh that must have been terrible. Love your stitching. I have selected a few of my January projects too - in looking I have found so many great projects I even forgot I had...

  5. I love comparing your before and after photos. I see that you've been stitching the towers. So sorry to hear about your migraine slowing down your stitching!

  6. How did you manage to survive a regular work day with migraine, Katy? Are you that immune to that kind of excruciating headache? Anyway, seek professional help to know what triggers and what will relieve you from migraine.
