Which specialty stitches do you love doing on projects? Which do you dread?
Tough question! I will say dread came to mind first - I am not a fan at all of doing french knots. I cringe when they're part of the pattern, especially if it's done in metallic threads or silks. I'm slowly moving into a habit of replacing french knots with beads. I'm also not a fan of the backstitching process because it can seem endless, but I adore what backstitching does to a piece. That's probably not a specialty stitch, but oh well!
I don't have a favorite "specialty stitch" I like doing on projects, but I am definitely a fan of beading, which I suppose could count.

ReplyDeleteYour progress is just amazing =) And I am confident that are few of those are going to be finished soon =)
ReplyDeleteWow, lot of progress going on here. I have a question about "Flames of Desire", and maybe you answered such a question, do you find it difficult to stitch on alike fabric to your thread?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful progress!
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine having as many WIPs as you do. They are all so beautiful. That being said I am sitting here with three different charts trying to decide which I want to start in order to have something small to work on in front of the TV at night. My only other projects are too complicated.
ReplyDeleteYour needle sure looks on fire. You did so much progress! They're all looking great;)
ReplyDeleteThat is an amazing amount of progress! Well done :)
