Yes, I am insane

So in my blog surfing earlier this week, I came across a new challenge.

I may already have nearly thirty WIPs right now, but I think working on the OUAT Alphabet all of April somewhat burned me out and I need new starts! This is similar to the Crazy January Challenge that many stitchers are familiar with. For Stitch Maynia, I will be doing 15 starts in 15 days!

Am I crazy? Yep. But many of these new starts have been calling my name for awhile, so I'm going to take this opportunity to indulge! Plus, May is my birth month, so we'll consider this a little birthday present to myself! I will be starting the following pieces in this order in May:

Christmas Elegance by Mirabilia
Elf's Garden by Soda Stitch
Fibery Friends Sampler by The Frosted Pumpkin Stitchery
Let's Do Wine by Ursula Michael
Medieval Maiden by Joan Elliott
Miss Valentine by Mirabilia
Mixed Berry Cheesecake by Glendon Place
Quaker Diamonds by Rosewood Manor
Rose Fairy by Joan Elliott
Sleeping Beauty by Joan Elliott
Snowflakes by Mill Hill
The Biggest Stash by Cross-Point Designs
The Bookshelf by Little House Needleworks
The World's Postage Stamp by Soda Stitch
Wine Glass by Mill Hill

This is in addition to my two SAL pieces that come out tomorrow and May 1st. In fact, we got the Storytime Sampler preview today, and I have to admit, I'm stumped!

Any guesses? I suppose we'll find out tomorrow!

Until next time!

  1. Nah, you're just as sane as the rest of us! I've been getting the itch to start more pieces, too, and I have over 100 right now! So, what does that make me? I love all your choices, Katy; have fun with your new challenge :-)

  2. Lol, I do not even know how many wips I have but it's up there. If starting new pieces makes you happy I say go for it! A hobby should not stress you out. I know that sometimes I just need to start something new to energize my stitching mojo. Congrats on all of your alpha finishes.
